SALARY:   Class 4 - $73,170.41 to $96,247.61

SCHEDULE:   DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 09:00 to 17:00  (variable schedule during summer events)

REASON:  Replacement (RE)

WORK MODE:   In-person  

WORK LOCATION:   Maison des Arts (1395, boulevard de la Concorde Ouest)

 

The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the dissemination and mediation manager of the cultural dissemination and events division, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of various cultural dissemination and mediation programs and activities in the Laval territory. In this capacity, you will ensure optimal use of the human, material, and financial resources allocated to you.

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in recreation, culture and tourism, or in cultural animation and research, or any other relevant field;
  • Have two (2) years of relevant work experience;
  • Have a strong interest in practices related to the field of recreation and the development of living environments;
  • Have a good mastery of project management;
  • Be able to create and maintain networks of partners;
  • Be versatile and have experience in programming and cultural dissemination in various artistic disciplines; 
  • Be familiar with the dynamics and challenges of cultural dissemination and event production in outdoor public spaces;
  • Be sensitive to cultural mediation and the development of audiences for the arts;
  • Be able to create and maintain networks of partners;
  • Be organized, autonomous, have a sense of initiative, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
