Project Management Assistant – Construction Sector

Job Description
Under the supervision of the Project Management Manager, the incumbent supports project managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the various stages to ensure the success of projects, both in the factory and on construction sites. She plays a key role in circulating and updating information throughout the process.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze plans and specifications from architects, engineers, and subcontractors;

• Identify materials required for project completion;

• Prepare and submit deliverables via the Procore platform;

• Perform quantity calculations and prepare material requisitions;

• Manage technical questions and answers (TFAs);

• Manage and update drawings in Procore;

• Prepare the documents required for production start-up;

• Collaborate with the project manager and the superintendent to monitor installations and construction sites;

• Participate in monitoring production, delivery, and installation schedules;

• Promote effective communication between the various departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or technical degree in civil engineering, college diploma (DEC) in architecture, vocational diploma (DEP) in building design, or relevant experience in the construction field;

• Excellent ability to read and interpret plans;

• Proficiency in IT tools;

• Good knowledge of English (an asset).
