Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a reference for your operational team on quality topics:
o Raise awareness of quality fundamentals and procedures
o Assist the team in resolving quality issues using the RPO (Operational Problem Solving) methodology, 8D analyses, and handling dysfunctions
o Following Quality events, guide the team in updating FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Conduct analyses and lead committees to help the operational team improve its quality performance
• Participate in contingency follow-up and identify the root cause of quality issues (customer complaints, rejected parts, etc.) and implement the action plan
• Conduct mini-audits of your area and manage non-conformities resulting from these audits
• Participate in various projects and advise the manager
• When implementing new equipment, ensure that the required tests are performed as defined in the procedure,
• Carry out follow-ups and performance measurements.
Requirements:
• University degree in Quality Assurance or another relevant discipline
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance in the aerospace industry
Technical skills:
• Good knowledge of quality assurance systems and ISO or AS/EN standards.
• Strong problem-solving techniques
• Knowledge of statistics
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining
• Very good proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English to interact with other Safran sites and partners.
