Job Title: Heavy Truck Mechanic

Location: Mississauga / Toronto (ON)
Schedule: Full-time – Day or evening shift
Salary: $25 to $35 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established company in the transportation and logistics sector, specializing in fleet maintenance. They are currently seeking skilled and motivated truck mechanics to join their team in Mississauga.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks (engine, brakes, transmission, suspension, etc.)

• Conduct preventive maintenance according to safety standards

• Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance

• Follow all health and safety regulations in the workplace

Requirements:

• Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent certification)

• Minimum 2 years of experience working on heavy trucks (Freightliner, Volvo, International, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Ability to accurately diagnose technical issues

• Valid driver’s license (G class required, DZ or AZ is a plus)

• Own tools (an asset)
