Machinist

Main Functions:

• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Set up and operate various CNC machine tools (lathes and milling machines)
• Deburr parts as they come off the machine
• Inspect machined parts
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Actively participate in the development and maintenance of quality standards and processes

  Education and Experience

  • DEP CNC machining techniques with an ASP (Advanced Specialized Technician) 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience Basic knowledge of metrology Experience in the aerospace and military sectors would be an asset Description of skills: Ability to work in a team Meticulous and detail-oriented, working to high quality standards Autonomous and resourceful Specific requirements related to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program :
    • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
    • Must have no criminal record
