SALARY: Class 7 – $91,583.20 to $114,479.31 / year

SCHEDULE: 40.00 hours per week, DAY Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

WORK MODE: In-person

The challenges that await you

Under the direction of the Coordinating Supervisor, you assist your superior in managing the activities under your responsibility and assume the supervision of the resources for which you are responsible, in accordance with the allocated budget as well as the orientations, objectives, directives, and instructions from your superior and the service management.

You supervise a work team to ensure the smooth operation of the wastewater treatment plant and compliance with environmental standards. More specifically, you plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance (preventive, predictive, and corrective) and repair work on the mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control systems under your responsibility. You also participate in the implementation of the quality assurance program to ensure that the indications and instructions of the program are followed.

You ensure the maintenance of discipline and sound management of all resources at your disposal, regularly produce reports on the management of the resources assigned to you and the activities for which you are responsible. You submit relevant recommendations to your sector of activity.

The ideal profile for us
  • College diploma (DEC) in water treatment;
  • Possess six (6) years of relevant experience in the role, preferably acquired in the municipal field and within a wastewater treatment plant;
  • Hold a qualification certificate (L.R.Q. chapter F-5);
  • Experience in managing and supervising unionized personnel.
