Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with a strong accounting background for our refrigerator, air conditioner, and other repair facility.

We offer:

  • A permanent part-time position, 40 hours/week, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday;
  • A healthy and collaborative work environment;
  • Salary starting at $20/hour, varying based on experience.

Your challenges:

  • Accounts receivable management: Including invoicing, payment tracking, reminder management, and dispute resolution;
  • Accounts payable management: Including invoice reception and verification, data entry, payment preparation, and filing;
  • Logistical coordination of workers (Refrigeration technician): Including communication with carriers (French and English), document preparation, and follow-up;
  • Professional reception and bilingual switchboard management: Screen calls, take specific messages, and direct visitors;
  • Versatile administrative support: Including mail management, filing, document production, and other administrative tasks assigned.

Your profile:

  • Relevant experience with accounting software;
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel (advanced level required), Outlook;
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain an orderly work environment;
  • High rigor and attention to detail: Essential for the accuracy of accounting data and administrative documents;
  • Autonomy and proactivity: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs;
  • Team spirit and collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a small team and contribute to a collaborative environment positive;
  • Specific experience in a manufacturing or wood processing environment would be a considerable asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English): Oral and written fluency essential to communicate effectively with carriers and potentially other partners;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant AND recent experience in a similar role combining administration and accounting;
  • College Diploma (DEC) in administration, accounting, or a related field.
