Bulk Peat Transporter
You’re in luck! We have the perfect position for you! We are currently looking for a Bulk peat transporter at Baie-Sainte-Anne. Thanks to you, peat will go smoothly from the field directly to the plant! With your good judgment and your ability to take decisions, you are the person we are looking for.
RESPONSABILITIES:
• Responsible for transporting peat from the field to the plant with a loader, a tractor or a truck;
• Feed the plant with field peat and respect the established delays;
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of your equipment;
• Comply with current health and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The candidate must hold at minimum a high school diploma;
• The candidate must have experience driving a tractor and a loader;
• The candidate must hold a Class 1E;
• The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• The candidate must be reliable and autonomous;
• The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English;
• The candidate must be in good physical condition;
• The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS :
• Insurance: Immediate access to medical after probationary period. Disability, dental, vision and medical after qualifying period;
• EAP Service;
• Contributions to RRSP: The Employer will make a contribution to each employee who contributes an equal amount up the maximum of $12.00 per week (0-5 years of service);
• Vacation days (10 days) at 4%.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
• Wage offered : 22,52$/h
• Permanent position;
• 48 hours per week;
• Daytime schedule.
