Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
The job involves performing chrome, zinc-nickel, and nickel plating operations through electrodeposition using anodes, forms, anode cages, tanks, chemical solutions, and other techniques.
Tasks include:
- Installing and adjusting the anode cage or anodes on the part
- Performing electroplating operations using chemical plating or rinsing solution tanks, in accordance with procedures.
- Controlling parameters (amperage, duration, etc.).
- Placing the part in the de-stressing oven and programming the heating cycle.
- Troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Inspecting the part to ensure compliance with specifications and taking necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected
- Organizing work and scheduling tasks based on instructions received regarding priority parts to be processed.
- Consulting technical documents such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures on the computer, and completing the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation as needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P) in surface treatment, aircraft mechanical assembly, aircraft structure assembly, aircraft circuit assembly-wiring, welding-assembly, or composite materials

Evening shift: from Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, night, or weekend)
• The salary for this position starts between $30.13 and $43.60 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progress in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $47.32.
• $1.30/hr bonus
