Responsibilities
Accounting Functions (Accounting Technician)
Enter accounting data into existing systems
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare bank reconciliations and support month-end closing processes
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns (GST/QST), and other government remittances
Monitor internal accounting and tax deadlines
Desired Profile
Training in administration or accounting
Relevant experience in an accounting technician role
Fluency in French (oral and written), basic English (an asset)
Excellent command of Microsoft Office software; Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Caseware) is an asset.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and discretion.
Team spirit and excellent communication skills.
Desired Experience:
Customer service: Minimum 5 years.
Accounting experience in a firm or financial environment: Minimum 5 years.
Job Details:
Hours: 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: $50,000 to $70,000 and up, depending on experience.
Type of Position: Permanent, Full-time, Long-term. term
Work schedule: Monday to Friday (September to June), 4 days/week during July and August
Location: Ahuntsic
Paid vacation: 4 weeks or more depending on experience
