CPA Director of Assurance

THE ROLE

You will manage a diverse clientele of private companies and non-profit organizations and will be responsible for theplanning, supervision, and review of audit, review, and compilation engagements.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising, coaching, and developing a small team of professionals;
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients;
• Presenting financial statements and addressing client needs;
• Reviewing the Corporate tax returns as needed;
• Monitor engagements, deadlines, and profitability;
• Contribute to business development and the continuous improvement of the firm's practices;
• Play a key role in the quality of services and deliverables.

THE DESIRED PROFILE

• CPA auditor;
• 8 to 10 years of experience in assurance within a firm;;
• Solid experience in auditing, review, and compilation;
• Experience in management and supervision Teamwork;
• Good knowledge of accounting and assurance standards;
• Experience in corporate taxation;
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills;
• Proficiency in CaseWare and Taxprep (Paradigm, an asset).
