A manufacturing company specialized in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the forestry sector is currently looking for an industrial mechanic or electromechanic to join its production team.

Job Summary
The selected person will participate in the complete assembly of forestry equipment, from initial preparation to final testing.
The role includes, in particular, the assembly of:
- mechanical;
- hydraulic;
- electrical.
You will primarily work on equipment such as harvesting heads, brush cutters, and multiprocessor heads.
The assembly of new products is carried out directly in the factory, in a clean, safe, and structured indoor environment.
The complexity of the equipment allows for work on various technical projects requiring autonomy, precision, and analytical skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform the complete mechanical assembly of equipment;
- Install and connect various hydraulic and electrical systems;
- Read and interpret complex plans, diagrams, and mechanical drawings;
- Make necessary adjustments during assembly;
- Use various measuring and precision tools;
- Participate in the final testing of equipment;
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues encountered during assembly;
- Follow manufacturing procedures and quality standards;
- Work collaboratively with different members of the production team;
- Strictly adhere to health and safety rules.
Desired Skills
- Excellent ability to read plans;
- Good understanding of mechanical principles;
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches;
- Fundamental knowledge of mathematics;
- Good manual dexterity;
- Ability to use handling equipment such as cranes;
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems;
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
- Ability to communicate in English is considered an asset.
Profile Sought
- Training in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field;
- Experience in heavy machinery mechanics;
- Approximately 3 years of experience in production, assembly, or mechanics is desired;
- Good ability to read complex diagrams and mechanical drawings;
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems;
- Experience in diagnostics, problem-solving, and repair;
- Great attention to detail;
- Meticulousness, rigor, and motivation;
- Ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
Assets
Experience in one of the following areas will be particularly considered:
- mobile machinery mechanics;
- forestry equipment;
- heavy machinery;
- harvesting heads;
- multiprocessor equipment.
