The typical salary range for this position is $36 200.00 - $54 400.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.

This posting is for an existing temporary, full-time position.

SUMMARY:
The prime responsibilities for this position are to calculate, analyze and validate store margins, process store charges, adjustments and validate store and warehouse inventories.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Review historical margin rates by store, by department and investigate any fluctuations from history to determine if entry errors were made.  Validate the calculated corrections and adjustments made.
  • Preparation, calculation and validation of perishable inventories.
  • Monitor DSD events to ensure inventories are calculated with correct invoice costing.
  • On a daily basis complete the unmatched report to ensure accuracy in invoice billing.
  • Investigate all billing discrepancies and prepare all issues for processing for AP.
  • Sort and file store mail on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate with stores regarding any matching issues.
  • Keep supervisor informed of any issues that are related to the matching process

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College study (1 years) in accounting/business related field.
  • PC literate with intermediate level in Excel and Word
  • SAP, EXE and AS400 knowledge would be an asset.
  • Previous experience in warehouse accounting and/or inventory control considered an asset.
